Regarding International Driving Permit Necessity

Dear Friends, Greetings

I hold Indian Driving License, but don't have International Driving Permit. Will i be permitted in Riyadh to drive Rental car on Indian driving license till i get permanent license made in KSA.

Kindly advise pls

For most countries, you can drive rental cars without IDL. However, most rental agencies in GCC countries will create an issue for that, especially with licenses such as yours. Some will accept. My advice is to get an IDL. And be aware that you can only drive on it till you get an Iqama - at which point, you need to get a Saudi license.
