Wifi router Vila verde

Post new topic

Hi we own an apartment on Vila verde and come out for 1month at a time. When we are there we hire/rent wifi through Vila verde via unitell  but there seems to be a shortage of routers there at the moment. Just wondering if we could bring one out and would it work. Or would it be possible to buy one there. Vila verde supply the line just not enough routers. Many thanks

Yes, you can bring your own router or buy one in Cape Verde. I assume you are technically proficient enough to set up a router. You will still need to ask Unitel for your user ID, password, etc. If you're not so proficient with the computers, ask Vila Verde to get a Unitel technician out to set it up for you.

Cheers,

Not so. Any router that runs on 220V would work. Unitel gets no equipment from the UK. It all comes from PORTUGAL!
