Hello, my name is Rad, and I am a Virginia attorney in a small county.  By 2025, I plan to pack in the law business.  I enjoy warm weather, blue water, and fishing.  I've spent some time in Thailand (Khon  Kaen and Bangkok) and plan to travel for some extended stays in the PH in 2024.  I joined for feedback on geographic advice for exploration, looking for somewhere long term to rent.  I appreciate the positive threads I have read so far.  Thank you all for having this resource.

Welcome ihboxer hope you enjoy your years post law.  If you get near Ilocos Sur or Baguio and you are seeking any novels I have plenty of John Grisham books I just read this trip, plus a few James Patterson.  Hope you get all your questions answered.

@mugteck   I had stopped reading Grisham with "The Painted House."  Turow, Clancey, Grisham, I have not thought of those names in several decades. Thank you.  A simpler time.  Rad

Hi,Rad.I love fishing too, live in Philippines Cebu for 9 years. Have quite a few fishing rod, RUSTING. The only option if you go in between islands on a boat. Forget shores, not deep enough. Walk in a kilometer for chest high water. Good luck.
