Hello,i need lawyer for tax salary, can somebody suggest me good lawyer? In part on Manama if is possible

Thank you

XTang

Taxes for which country?   There is no taxation here so I assume you are asking for a tax lawyer for your home country.  If that is the case then you are better off finding someone in the home country.

GuestPoster373

@XTang

Dont understand so better nothing say

XTang

Stop being disrespectful. You didn't ask your question clearly.  You just said tax salary lawyer....there are no taxes on salary here so it stands to reason that there are no lawyers for "Bahrain" specialising in that.

And looking at your profile you asked a similar question before and were answered.

In the future, try to write your questions properly and don't attack people who respond - simply learn some manners.

I have my tax lawyer for Croatia,i need lawyer for here, because i must send paper to my country to prove them that is not salary in Bahrain, some y NBR something like that is name, some people say me that

XTang

NBR will only give you a certificate of residence for tax purposes:

https://www.nbr.gov.bh/FTR/certificate_of_tax_residence

They will not give you a confirmation that you pay tax on salary in Bahrain because as I said, there is no tax on salary in Bahrain.   Also legally, no lawyer here will give you a letter saying that you "pay" tax on salary. However, the COR along with an employer letter showing your earnings should be sufficient.   If Bahrain has a double tax treaty with your country, the situation should be even simpler - only need COR.

GuestPoster373

Yes,this COR i mean, but on site say after 183 i can get this certificate?

XTang

Yes that is pretty standard for establishing tax residencies all over the world ie 180 days plus.  Less then that and you are considered tax resident in your home country which means that you need to declare and pay taxes in your home country on Bahrain income.

GuestPoster373

So you now how apply for COR when cames a time?Because i see a lot of papers, why i want lawyer because have job here who take me lot of time, and i can pay for this service

XTang

I guess any lawyer or agent can apply on your behalf  but if you look at the requirements, there is really nothing that they will do (no one specialized is needed but I guess they will charge a couple of hundred BDs to do it).   You have all of the papers already i.e.

CPR

Residence visa

Letter from YOUR country tax authority or bank requesting proof of residence

Your name, address and contact details

Proof of address in Bahrain

Any withholding taxes - none in your case as you are salaried.

The rest is authority to appoint an agent (if you use one).

To apply, you just need to send them an email with all the documents scanned.

GuestPoster373

I can have from my country paper statement from my bank?

XTang

You can if it is asking you to prove tax residence in bahrain.

GuestPoster373

I can normal print my ID,or same paper where is my home adress?that is only important?

XTang

Cpr data print. Like they do in the shops where they put your reader in a machine.  Go to any shop or bank and ask them to print it for you.

GuestPoster373

But you say from my country???i dont u derstand you

XTang

You said ID so I assumed CPR ie how to prove your address in Bahrain.

From your country, you need to provide the below as per requirements:

A justification from any relevant body in the country who requires the Certificate of residence. This can be a justification from the correspondent tax authority of the country, stock exchange, any bank, etc., in the respective country.

Now it's up to you to find something that can satisfy that requirement. I don't know your country so can't comment on what would work.

GuestPoster373

But on end i still stamp from lawyer before i get all this paper, can you please advise me some lawyer?

Best regards,Dario

XTang

Stamp not needed for certificate by NBR.

If you need for your country, then Google private notaries or document certification.  There are many services who can do that.... They will charge 10 bd or so per page.  There is one I have used for true copy certification, it's called helpline group.

GuestPoster373

All COR requests must be accompanied by certified copies by an independent lawyer, notary or auditor* of the following documents, where relevant:

Is not that i need lawyer or notary here?

When i send them this paper they send me back this on my e-mail confirm?

GuestPoster373

To certify a document, the COR applicant must produce a photocopy of the document and the original document to an independent lawyer, notary or auditor and ask them to certify the photocopy by writing “Certified to be a true copy of the original as seen by me.” on the photocopied document. The person certifying the photocopy must: sign and date the certification; print their full name under the signature; and add their occupation, address, telephone number and business stamp (if applicable). Alternatively, the COR applicant may produce the original documents along with the photocopies to NBR officials for validation.

This is on their site writing

XTang

Ok.  They didn't ask me for certified when I applied. But maybe it's changed. Use helpline and get documents certified.

GuestPoster373

No problem just ask,i just need send copy? Not original?

And finnaly you have some good lawyer for that?

XTang

Lawyer will need both original and copy for true copy attestation.  I told you already - check helpline, google them, that's the one I used. Or Google document certification.

GuestPoster373

I dont bro understand you what you saying,i just need lawyer i ask you so simple question, what google, just lawywer that is all

XTang

I don't know if your English skills are poor or there is a communication issue.

You want documents certified?

There is a service called helpline that has lawyers who do this. I don't remember their contact numbers and that is why I said Google them. I have used them.

Edit:  Since you are having trouble understanding, I googled for you; call +973-32325007 (Helpline Group).  Tell them you want lawyer to certify documents and they will tell you what to do.
