Hello,

I am a resident of Belgium and my company allows me to work remotely for 2 months per pear, and this year I took one month off and I want to work 2 months remotely from my home country, a total of 3 months.

Before leaving I called the commune and they told me I am allowed to leave but not more than 6 months, but I read old posts here that say 3 months only. Which one is correct?

Does someone have a legal online reference about this? And did someone face a similar issue recently?

Thank you

rhiarhi

3 months with card A is not a problem, you shouldn't leave for more than 6 months because if you do they will have to change your fiscal residence and it will impact your right to PR and Citizenship
