Obtaining Portuguese Citizenship for my Child and my Husband

Hi there! I need some advise - I have been previously married and had a child (now 15 years old) through my first marriage in the US. I have divorced and now remarried, also in the US. I am trying to obtain citizenship for my 15 year old child and my second husband and they are both US citizens. I have never registered my first marriage nor divorced with the consulate. What should I do in order to be able to obtain Portuguese citizenship for my child at the first marriage and for my second husband? I live in Houston Texas. Is there any lawyers that deals with this kind of situation?

Hi,

You need to check this with the PT consulate. But in your case:

- it's easy to obtain Portuguese citizenship for your child, as you are a Portuguese citizen. You have some support here.
