Intended date of arrival in the Schengen area

Dear All,


I have a question regarding Belgium visa application form. If my Work permit and residence permit start date is 10 June then can I mention 5th June as (First) intended date of arrival in the Schengen area in the application form as am planning to reach on 5th June. Can anyone please advise.
