Hi Darren,
There is guidance published in this document from the immigration authorities. There is a link in there of the visa-exempt countries. Ukraine was never one of them in the past. However, it's possible that it may have been updated recently with some kind of protocol between Ukraine and CV. I will search for any news of diplomatic cooperation between them.
In any event, it is always best to seek pre-authorization with the immigration authorities before arrival.
Is the group coming to spend a temporary holiday, or are they seeking refugee status? While CV subscribes to the international conventions regarding refugees, it's a small country. So it would be best to treat this subject in advance with the relevant authorities such as the Ministry of External Affairs. Otherwise, things can get complicated at the airport.
If you would like additional assistance or to discuss this further, please send me a private message.
Best regards,
Angelo
Hi it's just a two week holiday
They are refugees, but just coming for a two week holiday? So here are a few questions that will help me to advise you:
How many are in the group?
Where will they stay...will there be a hotel reservation? One is required. Or if it is not a hotel, then there must be a declaration from a local individual resident of CV, or a local organization making the invitation and assuming the responsibility for their expenses while here.
Who is paying for the hotel and covering their daily expenses during the two week vacation?
To where will they travel after leaving Cape Verde...the return ticket is to which country?
Or will they be seeking asylum in Cape Verde?
Angelo
Hi
Not seeking asylum
Staying at Riu palace and all paid for already
Return ticket to UK and have UK Biometric Visa in place
Covering own expenses
Hope this helps and thank you for the assistance
And traveling all inclusive with TUI if that helps
Forgot to add 2 from Ukraine traveling with their 2 UK sponsors and approx 44 other people all staying at the Palace for a wedding
So the solution is easy. Simply apply for the entry approval on the Ease website with all the relevant information.
The ease site is in the document I sent you. Apply as soon as possible. Visas in CV are given upon arrival. You should fill out the forms for each Ukranian, and pay their airport tax. Print the receipt.
When they arrive, they should have the receipt with them showing that they paid. They should also have their travel reservations and hotel reservations in hand, and indicate they are here for a wedding. Having the wedding invitation in hand wouod also help.
Best of luck. If there are any issues upon arrival, you can call me. I offered to provide you with my email address and WhatsApp number if you send me a PRIVATE message.
Cheers,
Angelo
Brilliant thank you Angelo
