@Cheryl,

I love the Gazette; it’s my go-to when I want to know whats going on, where to take my kids, and to discover the hidden gems of the region. The Gazette ( sold for 2€) is a good place to start and over time you will build up your knowledge.

Hi  @Cheryl    This is such a broad question   France is one of the culturally richest and diverse countries in the world   From the government to schools and individuals investment in growing, learning and participating in culture is immemsely important here in france and as such much of it is free if not very affordable anf accessible   You need to narrow down your search by area, city, type of culture, venue, time of the year (many museums are shut and most don't have major exhibits in the summer months especially in Paris, then you can start getting a sense of the options   Highly recommend going through the web sites and the social channels of the museum and the cultural offices of the regions and cities and look for ticket prices and events to get a sense   I home my general guidance to your broad question can get you started  Don't forget about google search for options at a location in france   Then start drilling
