Hi all together! I am a German pharmacist moving to Norway next month. I am looking for a job in a pharmacy from 2025 on, my approbation is already acknowledged. The boss of a pharmacy told me I need an introduction class from NAV before he can employ me. NAV says, no, that is only neccessary for people out of EU like Ukraine or Syria. So what to do? Can anybody help me or advice me what to do? I would really appreciate any help - Andreas

This is the health authority responsible for licensing healthcare personnel. If they don't say you need this extra class, you don't. I tried to fill out the wizard for you but I wasn't sure what type of pharmacist you were:  https://www.helsedirektoratet.no/englis … nnel?path=

however, if I understand you correctly, you've done this licensing already, I think this boss is also incorrect as any required additional classes would have been communicated with you when you got the approval

Hey at Helsedirektoratet they say you don't need any course to work on apotek if you completed your education in EU/EEA countries as those professions wich stays on the list are harmonised the whole EU.

Utdanning i EU/EØS

lege

sykepleier

tannlege

jordmor

provisorfarmasøyt
