Issue with Renewing Permesso di Soggiorno (forfeited student).

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a challenge with renewing my Permesso di Soggiorno as a student. Typically, students must extend their stay either as a student or graduate to continue their time in Italy for study or job-seeking purposes.

Unfortunately, I haven’t passed my required course units, and now I'm no longer classified as a student nor have I graduated. My current status is "decaduto" (forfeited student).

Given this situation, does anyone know what my options are to extend my Permesso di Soggiorno? Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Additionally, I have a Partita IVA, and I’ve paid my taxes for last year. If this can help with the process in any way, I'd love to hear more.

Thank you everyone.

I’m sorry i won’t be able to answer your query, though I need some information about opening of Partita Iva, if you can help. I hope you’ll figure out something through this post

@Saim Masood Hi,

To obtain a Partita IVA, you have two options:

1- Visit the Agenzia delle Entrate and request the opening of a Partita IVA according to your professional activity.

2- Consult a commercialista (accountant) who can assist you in setting up your Partita IVA and provide advice on tax obligations, payments, and related matters.
