Hi, l'm from Canada and want to get Turkey citizenship by investment. Would ypu please recommend your immigration lawyer in Istanbul if you already went through the process? Thanks a lot!

You don't need a lawyer but good guidance. And also you have to have/buy a property worth at least 200.000 dollar with the value on the title deed or by registered expertise report.

I can recommend a Telegram group for expats where you'll find info and help.

Lawyers in Turkije rip you off. İn fact all over the world these wolves.

To clarify:

For citizenship by investment: Minimum $400K

For Short term Residency permit: Minimum $200K

I would suggest a visit to the following websites as there is a wealth of information regarding resident permitting:

The first website gives a general purview of the residence permit process and answers a lot of FAQ.
