Visiting Mexico City in preparation to move there from Texas

Hello -

I live in Texas and will start visiting Mexico City soon in preparation to move there definitely within the next two years or sooner.

I would like to ask the local community where are good places to visit and live. I want to know where are the tech communities, where are the universities, where are good neighborhoods to live, where are the parts to avoid. I would also like to find any Indian or Pakistani expat communities as I was born in Pakistan.

I would be moving there with only my car, my dogs and possessions, so my needs are very simple. I am 55 years old. I only need good internet so that I can continue to work and study remotely.

If there are any folks here who have made the move, I would be interested in communicating with them directly and possibly meeting up during my visits.
