Hi,

I'm going to move in Mexico City in the end of June with my husband and my 2 children. Do you have some recommendations regarding moving company? It seems extremely costly and not really easy.
Thanks for your help. Fanny

There are classified ads at the top of the page that might help. Mexico is one of the most expensive crowded cities you can move to. It is also one of the least weather stable areas. Most earthquakes are centered there. Storms tend to move that way. which means lots of rain and likely hurricanes. Little is cheap there. Be sure you have a secured building robberies are common in some parts of town
But perhaps you already know all of this.  It likely has some of the same issues S.F.. has, and like S.F. It is a pretty city.

Is a job sending you there? If so you might want to see if the company can help with expenses and moving.

It's definitely not cheap, that's for sure. I've used a company called A1 Auto Transport to ship a car to and from Mexico from CA and they're also a moving company. I found them to be on the affordable side for shipping a car so they might be the same with moving services. Something to consider anyway.
