Where should I live?

Post new topic

I don't want to live in Panama City.  I was looking north near Boquet or David.  But I read an article on the southern end of Panama and now I'm thinking about that area. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm going to be 64 and my husband will be 67 this year (2025), and he's in a wheelchair. So the area has to be walkable.

Thanks 👍

My advise after living for years as expat in Panama; DONT GO THERE! Is expensive, unsafe, terrible health and education system, corrupt authorities, xenophobic. Like they locals use to say; “Panama for Panamanians!!”

I'm sorry you're experience there was so bad. But I've been speaking with a lot of expats who absolutely love it. Anything is better than America, especially since the idiots re-elected Trump!

Check the number of murders, rapes and missing people… in addition to the large number of cases that are hidden by corrupt authorities. For your own security don’t go there!
