Moving from Canada to Konya with two boys

Hello,

My husband got a job offer in Konya and we are considering moving there from Canada with our two kids, 9 and 13.

Anyone here familiar with Konya?

I am looking for information on:

1. immigration (I think since he has a job offer, he can bring his family with him? what is the status of people that do not acquire citizenship through residence? is it ok to be a PR - permanent resident?)
2. best neighbourhoods for families in Konya
3. schools for the kids (none of us speak Turkish currently)
4. I am wondering if I will stunt their education by moving to a country where they don't speak the language in grade 8 and 4?
5. sports centres (kids do soccer, swimming, track and field)
6. extra curricular activities? chess club, math enrichment, etc...
7. health system
8. job for myself - I currently work for the federal government in project management, I doubt they will allow me to work from Turkey, should I look for a Candian job to do remotely, or for a job there?
