Turkey evolving?

Turkey in my view is doing quite well, better alligning with EU, who knows what happens.

What I do not like is (in my area), people (expats) look at money only (not the culture (friendly people (even if some are too commercial), respect, and also the very well maintained infrastructure (roads, plants, trees, restaurants, shops,...)

Many Russians and Ukrainers are leaving (too expensive bottom line), in our complex a few left which in a way good as owners still have to pay Aidat (and our Manco is strong).

I am Dutch, living in many countries with my wife. Cost of living is now slightly higher then in Hungary, but people are more friendly in Turkey I have to say. In restaurants (and even in shops or hairdressers you are received as a real guest (difficult to refuse complimentary tea)

I do understand expats from other countries wanting to leave (money remains important), on the other side Turkey does not need expats with no money to spend.

What is frustrating is that if we go to restaurants we are often the only clients (we try to sit in a visible place to encourage others to come in), but expats have no money (???)

Lets see what happens in spring or summer.

What I do like is that Turkey takes seems a strong stance to illegal companies and people not paying their bills. It seems finances are getting better.

Still all these subsidies (loans, cheap credits (relative), ...) are a negative, still central bank does quite a good job to keep things under a bit under control.

Inflation will be killed if no more increases (especially with salaries (Erdogan can do this) , difficult for normal people, but if it will pay off (eventually)

I can write much more (and I will)
