Visa for long-term residence in Mauritius

Post new topic

coolinny

A friend of mine who visited Mauritius recently fell in love with Mauritius and asked me for advice on Mauritius long-term visa.

However, I don't have enough knowledge to answer that question, so I'd like to ask for your help.

Of course, I looked it up online, but some of it was confusing.

Continuing from the last article,,,,

Here are my friend's requirements:

1. Under 50 years old

2. Has a family, wants to live in Mauritius.

3. His income is already generated outside Mauritius

4. He doesn't plan to do any profit-making activities in Mauritius, but wants to do volunteer work, etc.

I think he wants to semi-retire.

What are the options for him?

Hello Coolinny,

Feel free to invite your friend on the website to interact with members ^^

So, since he is under 50 years, he will not be eligible for a retirement visa.

Do you know for how long he plans on living here ? What is his nationality ? He could have a tourist visa (he and his family) up to 6 months (3 months initial visa + 3 months extension)

Else, there is the premium visa for foreigners who want to live here for more than 180 days to 1 year (this visa is renewable). He will not be able to work in Mauritius.

Have a nice day
