British Consulate Open Days in Alicante Province
The British Consulate in Alicante together with the Department for Work and Pensions are holding a series of open events in the Alicante area to talk about issues that matter to the majority of British residents
The Department for Work and Pensions will provide essential information on UK pension, benefit and healthcare entitlements in Spain and the services that their team in Spain can offer.
The British Consul will open the sessions and explain the role of the Consulate, which has initiated the new services.
Seating is limited and the places should be booked online. To do so click on Open day events

I will have to make a comment here, I wrote to the consulate in Alicante asking for some advice and help as a Expat in Spain. Within 10 minutes I had received 4 telephone calls from 4 different departments based within the consulate. I was impressed, I thought great someone is going to help.
Only to later receive an email saying that they had spoken to the Spanish services envolved and that there was nothing they could do. 4 Personal phone calls that resulted in an unpersonal email.
