Suggestions please for 20 year old intern in Shanghai

Hi,

My son is in Shanghai on an internship, and likes his job, but is looking to meet other Americans living in Shanghai.

Are there any suggestions out there that we could pass on to our son? He is about 10 miles from downtown.

I may be a bit late for this post but just incase anyone else has the same question, check out the Shanghai Expat forums, I have found them useful so far. As well as the forums, they have coffee meets for expats every weekend and also an evening meet on wednesdays.
