Hi there,

As I am planning to move to Auckland NZ. I have read so many things abt medical facilities for migrants for example: if you have a valid residential/ work permit, public sector medical facilities are free for u. Is it really like that? or there are any hidden charges?

Further, I have read at different places that public sector hospitals dont offer good services. like patients need to wait for hours and private consultations are very expensive.

Kindly share your experiences, this will going to help a lot others

Regards,
Parus

Under Socialism, nothing is free. You will be paying for medical care through the taxes you pay. Cheers.

Absolutely correct even IF you are healthy [ Almost ] than you will be paying at least 100 times more tax than whichever medical services you gonna use?

As far as I know Medical services are Just Good not Best.
