The Taiwan Celts is a Gaelic sports club, founded in Taiwan back in 1996. What started as a small group of Irish expats in Taiwan has since expanded into one of the biggest non-professional annual sporting events in Asia, with teams from Taiwan, China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, and many more, all competing in Gaelic football and Hurling tournaments.
Having won the Bowl competition in the 2008 Asian Gaelic Games in Penang, Malaysia, the Taiwan Celts are now welcoming new members to our Ladies or Mens squads for this years season, in preparation for the 2009 Asian Games in Bangkok Thailand.

We are soon starting our introductory training to introduce new players to the basic skills of the sports, and give you the chance to meet up with everyone in the club. All guys and gals in Taiwan are very welcome to join us. Gaelic football is a tough physical sport, but our club members come from all nationalities and sporting backgrounds; from Ireland, England, Scotland, Taiwan, Australia, US, Canada. Whether you're experienced or not, why not give us a shout and come along for a bit of extra fitness training in your week!

You can contact our recruitment office: anthonylonergan@yahoo.com and check out the new official website for more details: taiwancelts.com

Looking forward to seeing you...
