Guys

With all due respect things are getting really really frustrated here. I got couple of questions to my Egyptian friends.

1. At first people wanted M to leave , allot of blood was shed, economy was set on fire, tourism almost destroyed and when finally he left what you GET ?

2. Now here comes the Army , and You do not want them either now..isn't it funny ! what exactly people here want is out of my understanding

3. Ever since M left every Friday there is this Revolution game going on for different reasons. its seems like HEY its Friday lets goto tahrir and have football game!  Protest has really become so easy here that every single institution started making and the recent one is the METRO strike !

Please ans me point 4 that is beyond my limited knowledge

4. Now people want ARMY to leave ..helloooo if the army HEAD leave now do you really have someone else to take care of your country ?  what if Army General Replaced by another General ..would it be acceptable? NO... What political Party do you have to take care of democratic control if not Army ? I Bet if army thing is over it will give birth to another political party issues and then there will be another summer season of Long March

I guess people here have NO PLAN and they are just emotionally hijacked for  something they do not have any solution. At first when I use to  debate with people about what HM downfall gave to you in return they normally use to defend there 25 JAN by saying "revolution changes need time and nothing is changed overnight" So my question to those is was the patience over?

do you know anyone Sleeping Hungry during HM is sleeping full stomach after revolution ?Any one roaming around on streets with bunch of diploma in hands got the Job after revolution? Education level remains the same!

Guys I do not mean to disrespect people who have lost there lives during revolution . I respect the efforts being done but effort without vision are useless and endup creating more mess. I am writing this long as I am really frustrated with all this situation like any other.

Appologies in advance If I have offended anyone

Hope things go fine and normal like before soon InshAllah !

all I can say is LOL @ your reply !

answering question is far better then running away. anyways got the answer , thanks anyways for taking time to read my post.

The Egyptian

Every single country in the world has a long line of succession to power in cases like this. For instance, this is the US line of succession

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta … succession

In our case, the line of succession is President, Vice President, Head of Parliament, Head of Supreme Constitutional Court.

Since the first two were ousted, and the third was removed by the first, I believe the Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court is the remaining option.

SCAF has been stalling and trying to remain in power illegitimately. 6 months ago they officially released a press release stating that rumors of presidential elections being delayed to 2012 are not true. Now they say 2013 .... Proposed Super-constitutional declaration completely castrates the coming parliament and president (let alone the newly invented concept of having some legal document that is above the constitution, pretty creative don't you think?) .....

and it is really a shame to be one out of TWO countries currently governed by military juntas (Egypt and Fiji only !!)

And last but not least, please take no offense from egyptiantutor's reply. It was a little rough, but carries some form of truth ...... It's too difficult for anyone to understand the situation even if they're living here.....

Thanks for a descriptive reply and to some extent you do make sense. But again the question remains there. If today no militry as people want the HEAD of SCAF to leave then do they really have an alternate plan ? Who is going to lead the country immediately right after fall of the main SCAF guy?

People demands are 100% right at there part but what they are lacking is a solution. they are asking but not proposing backup solution that was the only concern for my post.

Between Its ok Im not offended by the reply of egyptiantutor". My wife is Egyptian an i do know people here are very emotional taking there country :)

Head of supreme constitutional court, or an Interim Presidential Council headed by all current party heads + the head of the court.

LiLyyolyz

first ,ur title is quite provoking becoz first the Revolution is not a game that ppl play when they feel bored,so plz change it!!
the ppl were protesting every Friday becoz they had real demands and since there is no Parliament to do the job ,that was the only way to put pressure on SCAF to take action!!
second, after 25 Revolution ,ppl didn't plan who will take the place of hosni Mubarak ,so it was actually his decision ,that he handed the power to the SCAF ,Not the decision of ppl!! and ppl didn't see any change after the Revolution, there is no freedom ,social justice  or any change and what's worse the killing that becomes an easy way to end any sit in in Tahrir square!!
that's why ppl will protest Now and will continue to protest until they get their rights and i'm afraid we have to pay the ultimate price to get these rights back!!
and about who will rule if the SCAF left,we can have "transitional council" from civilians and some famous political figures like that one in Libya and Tunisia!!

alimirza

Well i agree but the price that Libya paid for there freedom is quite High Actually on the other side I agree its the democratic right of people to get there elected one. I am not Egyptian but since I have been living here for 3 years I do have some concern and attachment towards the country where I am living.  Applogies if  my topic has offended you by any means it wasn't deliberate trust me.

I hope all this mess is over and Egypt return to a safe state again InshAllah

LiLyyolyz

yeah unfortunately in Libya ,it was war becoz Nato was involved and besides kazafy gangs but in Egypt ,it's a different situation!
No it didn't offend me at all .I hope i cleared things up and ur concern is rly appreciated
InshaAllah I hope so
