Hi,

can a foreigner buy property in Singapore?

If so, is it complicated? What is the process of purchasing a property in Singapore?

Any tips for buying property, such as a check-list of items to verify ?

Thanks in advance for participating!

There are unrestricted properties (usually high-end Condos) that foreigners can buy freely.
There are restricted properties (mostly HDB flats, which are 80% of all flats) that only Permanent Residents (PR) and citizens can buy (you have to also fulfil other criteria).
And no foreigner can buy land or landed property (houses). Exceptions are possible, but rarely granted and only for long-time residents.

Thank you beppi! :)
