Jobs in Ecuador

Post new topic

clewis

Hello! I am new to this forum and I am very happy to have stumbled upon it.

My husband (Matt) and I are 32 and 30 years old. We are very seriously considering moving to Ecuador in about a year. We have no children (just three dogs). While we have some sustainable online income that would allow us to live in Ecuador, we both know that we would want to work also. He is a musician who has been teaching piano, guitar, bass and drums for 10+ years. I currently work insurance, but I am learning spanish. I am also a good photographer (although not a pro yet). We are just wanting to get some ideas of jobs for young expats. I have read in several places tutoring English pays better than ESL. Do you have any ideas or advice? If  you honestly think young people don't stand a chance there, let me know. Or of any type jobs that there is a need in, i am willing to train in anything.

thanks so much for your input. I really, really appreciate it.

Christine
