Vaccinations for babies

My son is 11 months old and we are coming out just before he turns one. He would be due his 12 month old vaccinations here but won't be able to get them so I wondered if anyone could advise whether I could get them for him at 12 months in Malta. These are the vaccines he is supposed to have.

•Meningitis C, third dose
•Hib, fourth dose (Hib/MenC given as a single jab)
•MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), given as a single jab
•Pneumococcal infection, third dose

My concern is if he misses the vaccines such as Men C, HIB and Pneumococcal (as these are continuations of previous vaccines) will he have to start the whole course again? From a quick search it looks like Malta doesn't offer these vaccines until 18 months.

Has anyone came out with a baby of a similar age?

According to my paediatrician in Canada, there is no problem with giving vaccines later than scheduled, only earlier. So you should be okay waiting until 18 months. That being said, however, you may want to investigate the differences - if any - between your home country's vaccine dosages, etc. and Maltese vaccines. Good luck!
