QSI or St. Edwards?

Hello, we are relocating to Malta this year, and I am looking for a school for my son.
He is 13 and has gone to German schools so far.
WE got a place offered in QSI and one in St. Edwards.

I heard from a friend that QSI was no-good, but have yet to read anything about it being bad.

St. Edwards seems very traditional, and I have read some reports about bullying , but all in all the reviews have need really good.

Any thoughts and experiences are welcome!

My Scottish son attended St Edward's and was very unhappy. Maltese bully foreigners. We took him out. QSI should be good as are St Martin's. St. Aloyious is also very good.

Wow, thank you... that must have been awful. Bullying is something we want to avoid at all costs.
My kids went to a German private school, and it is basically a cookie-cutter mould you either fit into, or you don't.
My son has ADD, but is very bright otherwise and is generally popular with his classmates, but bullying he would not stand for, nor would he allow others to be bullied. I am sorry the school didn't seem able to take care of this. My daughter was bullied in the fourth grade, and she is still recovering ( she is now 16!). Germany private school said it wasn't their fault, bla bla, that she is just different, too sensitive... She had never been bullied before, nor after. Some kids are just A-holes ( sorry), and some adults as well.

Many, many years ago our American neighbour sent his son to St. Edwards. When he left at 18 he was immediately accepted into the US Navy to train as a fighter pilot. We thought that was very impressive, to transfer from a traditional European school to such a high-level military career.

QSI have a 3 strike rule on bullying, they just dont tolerate it.

My kid is only starting with QSI now, I get the impression you either love it or hate it, it has a slightly different approach etc.

Always spaces there though due to price

Could you explain in detail about the different approach? I was thinking to register my son there (primary School). I just think their School Hours Are pretty long (until 15.30)
