Why work at Yola (yola.vn)?

* Have fun and casual conversations with students and get paid! No teaching involved.

Yola is the pioneer online education startup in Vietnam committed to delivering quality English training. Yola achieves it by creating an English immersion environment where students study English online in small groups with native speakers, review on their own with Yola materials, and interact with their friends through Yola's social network.

We are looking for individuals interested in joining our offline tutoring team. Yola team is entrepreneurial, creative, respectful of teachers and team members, and committed to student's performances.

A tutoring background is not required, but flexibility, energy, a sense of humor, and lots of enthusiasm for students all are!

Job descriptions:

    * Hold casual English conversations with a group of students three times per week.  Students come in and out with questions related to speaking English.  No structured lesson plan is needed.  These casual conversations supplement the online discussion sessions the students have with their main native speaker teachers.
    * Provide students with feedback to improve their communications skills
    * Suggest to Yola team how to help students better
    * Attend Yola training and evaluation sessions
    * Total time commitment: at least 3 months, 6 hours / week
    * Location: Ho Chi Minh City
    * Duration: August 24, 2009 – October 31, 2009, either 7pm-9pm TueWedThu or 7pm-9pm TueThuFri (preferred)

Pays and benefits:
    * Starting at US$ 10 / hour
    * Bonus available based on students’ feedback, work ethic and attitude and based on the quarterly performance of Yola

This position is available on a rolling basis.  Please contact Tu Ngo, V.P. of Strategy, Yola at ntngo@yola.vn  or 090909 1429 immediately for an interview.
