Could anyone clarify, if i could stay in Kl for a longer period

Hi there to all you enthusiastic Expat.comgers,

I have a question concerning visit visa to Malaysia from India. With a multiple entry Visa for one year stamped on my Indian passport, could I live for couple of months there by exiting and re-entering the Country after a one month period of total stay in KL. Is it possible to travel ( road or air )to neighboring country and re-enter Malaysia in between single/two days time, there by extending the duration while the validity of my Malaysian Visa is on.

Will appreciate to hear on this.

what i understand, when you get a multiple entry visa,, it allows you to leave and enter malaysia as many times during the period of one year. the expiry date of your visa would remain the same irrespective how many times and when you enter or leave malaysia, it has no bearing when you last entered/exited malaysia
i too am holding a multiple entry visa valid for 10years and the expiry date remains the same, even if re-enter malaysia one day before expiry,,
