Hi Wendy,

Welcome to Bahrain and to our forum.
By the way you can click on the French flag to switch to the French part of the forum. If you left France to runaway from French people, then stick to the English part !!  :D

The French community isn't huge but still there are around 1000 French expats. Add to that a few hundreds of French speaking Canadians, Belgians, Swiss etc...  I'm sure you can find your way !

Hope you'll like Bahrain :p

Cheers

Olivier

Thank you everybody for your welcoming messages. I arrived 5 days ago and already started work. Apparently my day off will be on Friday. I am really interested in sports, especially dancing so any recommendation would be good. Thank you :)

If you are into Latin Dance, the following clubs organize dance classes:

Latin Quarter - Pars International Hotel in Juffair
Latin Dance Studio - Coral Beach Club in Al Fateh Highway
Muju Restaurant and Lounge - Amwaj Islands (They are launching a new Latin Night on Saturdays)

Hope this helps :),

Regards,

Olivier-France

"Latin Dance" sounds great !

Enjoy Mandy :D
