If the post was by yourself it means you have a lot going for you.

Vietnamese and English.

As a Vietnamese citizen you have rights under the ASEAN agreement that will help you land work in any ASEAN country.

Getting to work in the US and parts of Europe can be very complicated, expensive and still end in failure.

Remember, many companies are still moving into VietNam and your skill set will help them get up and running. Keep an eye on the daily Vietnamese and English newspapers - the people wanting English skills mainly advertise in the VN English papers.

P.S. The KFC (on Hai Ba Trung @ Lamson Square - opposite the Hyatt)) has English newspaper fresh every day - get there early, though, as thieving Foreigners steal them!!

Prepare a CV - resume - in English and Vietnamese - and always send it out / deliver it with a covering letter.

With careful, discrete, telephone calls and NOT saying you are looking for work, get the name (and correct spelling) of the manager or senior person. By sending your resume (and letter) direct to that person it will likely be given to him/her and you will demonstrate you are smart. (You could say to whomever answers the telephone you are updating a business index of companies in VietNam [Panpages])

If you get called for an interview, use Google to get information about the company, especially new orders and successes, so you look as if you are even smarter!

If you want to work in Singapore, you have to be hired by a company in Singapore who will apply the relevant work permit for you before you can start work in Singapore.  To know if you will be qualify for a work permit, you can visit the Ministry of Manpower website.

http://www.mom.gov.sg/profile-gateways/ … eeker.aspx

However, please note that in recent months, foreign hiring are stricter & many companies are not getting the work permit application approved.  & this will be the continuing trend for Singapore job market, unless you have a job skill that can't be found in any other Singaporean job seekers.

Good luck.
