Hi friends\
Few days ago i posted a news about expected salary hike for expat ministry employees. A friend wrote in his comments that the rumours were around but not confirmed. But i had a confirmed report that kd 50 would be increased for expat ministry employees effective from April 2012.

So my dream about the kd 50 increase came true today when i got June salary with additional kd 150, arrears for last three months as the increase was in effect from april 2012.

I hope that other expat ministry employees will confirm my words cheerfully.

congratulations.

i think u will find however that the majority of expats here work in the private sector, hence your jubilation is one sided as the private sector doesnt issue increases like that.

I know that it isv a one sided jubiliation and private sector did not increase a single penny of their employees. As you know that I mentioned in my previous post regarding salary hike, that the expected increase was for government employees and employees of pivate sector did not include.

I hope and wish that employers of private companies should follow the amiri path and increase some money for their employees to enable them to cope with the high inflation witnessed here in recent months.
