Hello Bastien.

Welcome to Expat.com!

Your post has been moved to the Saigon forum for better visibility.

Can you tell us more about your professional background? :)

Thank you,
Aurélie

I realized several internships in marketing in London and Pont-à-Mousson (famous world company PAM)

I like to talk english. I know i studied lots about business but i think it is harder to find a job in international business in Saigon rather than teaching english.

but if some people help me to find in international trade, i'm openminded ! :)

Yes. I understands you; Comment ça va; bro?; want you teach vietnamien? your girlfriend beautifull there. You gets easily job in saigon, vietnam as waiter cafe. 3 mio VND/ month; double salary  average country :)

P/S: wow bro; you impression; you stayed each country 2 days? girlfriends there?

bdeveron

Thanks bro Rojamin !

I hope you can help me a little at least. I can teach you french for free (gratuit mon frere!). The most important for me is to get just enough money to buy food and to travel in Asia with my girlfriend. I will get married in 2 years maybe before.
But my girlfriend doesn't want to marry me for money !!!

And me, I like very much your country and the way people live. Maybe they are poor but they are very nice and awesome guys !

French people are not so much openminded and are stress with the economic crisis. The food is less and less good because of the globalization.

where can i ask for a job in saigon?
I plan to go back to saigon to visit my girlfriend for 2 weeks because february 10 and 14 are important days in Vietnam, toi biet !

but do you think i can wait until i come definitely in vietnam? Because on internet, it is difficult to find because you don't talk directly with people. :)

thanks bro for helping me :)

rojamin

LOL actually I was messing up with you.

But since you're very honest I might think I was exaggerating. Well may I ask what your qualifications are and what your major in the university was? In what fields/departments of international business exactly do you want to work? I might introduce you to some renowned reputable firms here. What's your estimation about standard living here and what's your expectation? If you're really talented, you could earn 2000 - 75.000 USD/month (Managers' salary and above in the IP Company [Edited])

P/S: Well I do hear those critics about french ppl a lot from my french friends in Hanoi. But I think because of several reasons they can't afford that luxury here (being ignorant and narrow-minded) ;)
And don't be afraid of the average salary in vietnam, it's just on papers and it's included all the rural/countryside areas and ethnic minorities where they produce all their needs in a closed society.  [Edited]

rojamin

is your gf vietnamese?

bdeveron

Hello Rojamin :)

thanks for your message. Yes My girlfriend is vietnamese, very nice and very beautiful :) we love each other and we wish to get married soon (maybe in december 2013).

But our wedding date depends of my situation in HCM city.
I would like to find a job in september 2013.

The amount of the salary is not the most important for me. the most important is to get enough money to live with my gf in a nice house next to district 1.

I can speak and write very well in french, english and spanish. I start to speak and write in vietnamese.

I have several diplomas :

2 english certificates :

1 from Gort Ard university (Ireland 2002)
1 from cambridge university (UK 2003)

1 business diploma (International Trade, france 2011)

I will study this year (October-June 2012) global marketing and business in Metz city (north-east of France).
My school is linked with Coventry school from UK.

I like to speak english, i like business and i like teamwork :)

I will come back in Saigon in february. I can meet you and some firms. So you and them can see how i look like :)

I will be happy to be manager or be part of the team managing.

I can send you my Curriculum Vitae in english if you want :)

well i hope you can help me.

tweepham

may i ask a silly question? how did you meet ur girlfriend?
(you dont need to answer if you dont like, i am just curious)

How adorable your love affair is! Really sorry because I don't know anything to help you with your job, just want to leave a comment to wish you a happy wedding ^^

Hi Bastien,

If you would like to teach English in Vietnam, I'd recommend you to take up a TESOL course here in Vietnam. I am from Singapore and have been in Vietnam for a month and and completing my TESOL course. I have been able to find some teaching jobs which pays me enough for me to stay in Vietnam. If you need more information, please email me and I can give you more information.

Cheers,
Dathan

I believe he already holds a CELTA, so a TESOL really wouldn't make any difference.

You may want to get the CELTA young learners extension.  Normally I wouldn't recommend it, but in your case you may need it.
