Hi daz gillo,

If you have funds to see you through financially for a couple of months I would say come and visit and look for work while you are here.

Certainly in my experience and my close friends it is definitely worth taking the jump as opposed to trying to secure work from back in the UK.

If you do decide to do that do not come until September as it is Ramadan now for one month which generally means no alcohol etc. so obviously not a good time to try and secure work in the bar industry

Daz....you'll find that most of the bar management positions are filled by subcontinentals and Filippinos who will work for a fraction of the pay you'll be expecting.

Try looking through the job sites which is posted as a sticky on the main page.
