Hello everyone, I recently confirmed a university teaching job in KL. I have visited southeast asia many times and have always wanted to make the move, finally it is happening. Very happy. So although I won't be moving until January, the excitement has prompted me to do some research.
I am a professional musician (music teacher) and all around artsy guy in my early 30's.
I enjoy living in very urban environments, and definitely I like the idea of small cafes, bars and eateries/street stalls around me. I am very social. Also markets are very important to me as I love to cook and don't like to use a car to simply get some vegetables.
Any recommendations as to where the musicians, artists, venues and indie vibe is in KL? Or at least the closest thing.
