Hi,

I just graduated with an Engineering degree in Dubai, and i got offered a job in Bahrain which is offering me 6000 AED/month (approx 615 BHD). I have a few questions in mind and would really appreciate any info regarding them.

1. Is it safe to work in Bahrain? How are the conditions there now?
2. Will i cover my general expenses within this package (accomodation, travel, food, utility bills)??
3. I have a UAE driving License, will that be of any help in Bahrain or will i have to apply for it as a fresh candidate?

Any information will be greatly appreciated

Regards

Yes it is safe, you don't really have to worry about your safety in Bahrain, you would be fine :)

Check this Post, it has a lot of useful information for you ;)

Until you get your residence permit, you can drive easily with the UAE driving license; once your residence permit is issued you would have to exchange the UAE driving license with a Bahraini one. The process to do so is very simple, this article is very informative in this regard

All the Best :)

Your local UAE driving license will do ;)

Hi Moving to Bahrain is good with the package. you will really realize 20% more for the same money here in Bahrain than in Dubai

For license, you can actually get license swapped.

I guess he meant Bahrain is 20% cheaper than you pay for the same stuff in Dubai - but I'm not sure if this is true. Bahrain is not particularly cheap.
