Just saying 'Hi' from Canada

My spouse & I are interested in Panama...
to visit, to stay longer, maybe to live,
not sure yet.

We do know we love to be able to swim in
somewhat calm waters sometimes.  Need to
be where swimming is fairly safe.
Would like to stay near that for a visit.

We are quite passionate about 'going green',
not that we try to get OTHERS to do this, but
WE do this.  Difference there.  However, doesn't
mean I wouldn't start a bike club if I went to
Panama...such a good, cheap, healthy way to
get around.

We would also need to look into accommodations there,
needs are likely small 1 bedroom condo with kitchen
and bathroom, and would love to have a balcony
if possible.  But if that's not possible, we
would manage OK.

We've been 'slow' on the uptake unlike some savvy
people, so we don't want to stay slow the whole
time and become SLUGGISH.

Welcome any help we can arrive at and will try to
look over what we need to know.

Oh, we are into alternative health things,
like herbs, spices, teas, oils etc.

We know just a little Spanish but like trying to
speak it.

I think we will want to see if we can arrange to purchase
a wee house somewhere in Panama close enough to swimming
so it is possible say by bike,

or just move there and work this out another way.

We hope to grow things there just for our food,
and to develop things if we can do that.

We don't know where to stay near where the
beach is for swimming, and some other things.
We may be able to get that online, though.

We likely are interested in a visa there eventually,
and maybe move there, not sure yet of anything.

We wonder about dental care if it is OK there,
more reasonable also, or not.

Well, as we meet others, maybe we can share things,
thanks for welcome.

Sorry if I have 'too many questions'.  Joy
