ExPat Mail - What to do?

I am currently having all of my fail forwarded to a family member in the states, who is then sorting it and sending me digital copies of the important stuff. I know I can do a postal forwarding and pay the Post Office to have all of my forwarded each month, but this can get costly.

Does anyone else have any solutions or alternatives for having their mail forwarded or handled?

There's earthclass mail, www.earthclassmail.com. It's not cheap, but it largly depends on the address you use, how much mail you have scanned, etc. I know earthclass has competitors that are cheaper, so do a search.
