Design Buffs - Pure White Restaurant Dishes/ Suppliers

Okay, my instructions are to find where to buy those pure white bowls used for zhou or tang in mid-grade (and even classy) restaurants across Shanghai. The usual retail stores just don't cut it - their designs are often patterned or painted in tacky colors. It's got to be pure white and smooth.

In a city like Shanghai, there must be a street or neighborhood filled with restaurant suppliers, at least some of whom would sell to individuals.

My own web searches and questioning of restaurant managers, retailers and (the most helpless of all) tourist info helpers have turned up nothing.

A name, an address, a district and (if possible) the nearest subway stop.

Try HEC on Aomen (Macau) Lu, there are also lots of little shops along that street that sell all sorts of plates and other utensils for the hotel and restaurant industry. If you don't find what you want, email me and I can give you another supplier but they only supply restaurants or hotels, not individuals.
