Coming to Dubai November 2012

Hi,i am planning to come to dubai in Nov on a visit visa to look for a job and hopefully settle there when i find one. I will be hunting for an IT related job as i have been working as sysadmin for 3 years. Would you kindly advice me on what to do before, i come, after i land there and any info that i may need to have? And how available are I.T jobs? I will highly appreciate.
