New to Da Nang

My husband and I have been in Da Nang for about 2 months now, and I admit I need something to do during the day while he works. I do visit him for lunch, but otherwise life is a bit dull. I'm not sure I want to teach English because the classes are at night or on the weekend when I want to be with my husband. Any ideas on what keeps you busy if you have no kids? Also - any tips on how to get rid of fire ants would be appreciated :)

Hi, there are classes in the daytime i believe. Danang is not actually a place for doing things tho. I will find you some classes in the day time if you wish.

I know that local people use gasoline to keep the fire ants away. Have you tried?

Urine works great on fire ants  Just drink up them water, alcohol even better and fire away, literally :Dhttp://www.ehow.com/how_7346102_kill-fi … urine.html

then I think it is better to drink the alcohol first :)

Right, sort of killing two birds with one stone. Great excuse in any case.

Baby powder works good on ants. Only problem is they send out suicide ants to plow a path through the baby powder.
