I am an American looking to work as an English teacher but I haven't had much luck lately. Anyone knows an English center that REALLY NEEDS people right now?

How long you been here and looking? Given the number of language centers around, someone is always hiring. The next month or so will be a little quieter as things begin to wind down for Tet.

I know people who have gotten teaching jobs over the last few weeks, so still plenty of work around, it's a case of turning up and knocking on doors as always.

How about donating your spare time to an English Club?

Keeps you in practice and looks good on your CV.
