Hello everyone,

I'm living now here in the Netherlands for over 3 years, married to a dutch  guy.. The idea of getting a dutch passport already came to us a year ago.. I wonder if anyone in here already had an experience (preferably someone who had applied for it recently) and wouldn't mind sharing some information.. I do have a couple of question..

1. How long did it took before you get a positive answer from ind?
2. When you applied at the gemeente, do they make interviews? (If so what were they..) or do you just apply and pay??
3. Is it guaranteed that you'll get a positive answer from ind once you applied for it? (Coz my husband is kinda skeptical about it.. that if its not guaranteed that ill get it.. then we will be wasting €800)

I've inquired for the requirements and yes I have them all they're just waiting for me to make an appointment for the application.. but then we have to pay the 800 directly on the same time we apply it..

any information would really he apprciated..

thanks in advance..

hi there.

actually you can apply now for dutch passport as you are married with a dutch guy for 3 years. If you have done the inburgeringsexamen A2,then it´s not really difficult.

If you go to Gemeente or IND, they can explain it more.

Good luck
