hi!

i would like to learn how to play a violin. can anyone suggest where i could get lessons?

House of Arts.  I just started taking lessons in January. Ms. Claire is my teacher. Great and patient teacher.

i checked their website. looks like i've missed the term. maybe i'll take the next one. how long have you been playing the violin? i'm a total beginner but i still want to start learning. smile.png

I just started in January.  I always wanted to learn too.   I never expectedto be able to learn to play here in the UAE! 

We are 6 weeks into the term.  I think you can register already for the next term.  Give them a call.  They did offer to let me begin in term 1.  They were going to prorate the fees.

The prices are very reasonable.  I pay only 150 for the rental of the violin.  ( with a deposit of course).

isn't it hard to start from the beginning? i'm twenty seven but i've always wanted to learn to play the violin. played the piano for about eight years when i was younger. currently in abu dhabi and i checked the website. classes look good! smile.png

they say violin is quite difficult to learn. my uncle did not survive his first week of tutorial.lol

i'm not musically inclined..knows some basic guitar playing and that's all. makes me think..i'm yet to decide if i would really pursue it..but i might. big_smile.png
