Opportunities for a TESOL qualified teacher

I'm currently in Thailand about to be immersed in a TESOL program offered by Chichester College out of London, England. Age is a difficult hurdle when one is retired here insofar as securing a teaching position. The problem becomes one of hustling every few weeks or so for visa extension if you don't find a position that allows you a work permit. If you are over 40 and male, you get the dregs of positions and it's iffy to get a work permit.
I'd like to know what, if any, serious opportunities are in Ecuador for a TESOL qualified teacher also with Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in New York. Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca -- whatever, I'm open.
