Congratulations!

I advise you to contact the Accommodation Office of your university - ask them if they offer accommodation for international students and tell them about your problems.

There is also the following link which is a very popular site to find private accommodation throughout Norway: http://www.finn.no/finn/realestate/lett … eaId=20085

I have given you a direct link to Gjøvik, and I see the first post offers shared accommodation for 6000 NOK monthly and it looks like a nice big room.

The same link is here http://www.finn.no/finn/realestate/lett … it/browse1

on the above link you can search anywhere - Norway is dividing into "fylker" which are like provinces , and I believe Gjøvik is in Oppland, so to search for a town you need first to go to Oppland or whatever province it is then you get a list of the towns.

Ask if you dont understand how the site works!
