greetings, im an american whose passport expired years ago and i don't have it. i will be getting a new pp in a couple of days.  since my new passport will only be a few days old, do i have to wait another 4 months before i can qualify to travel to cambodia and apply for an ordinary visa?  reason i asked, the visa requirements said a pp has to be at least 4 months old.

since cash is king, once i get to cambodia with a week and half old pp, can i pay extra to bypass the 4 month old rule?  if so how much more to get around this?  i don't want to wait that long to visit heaven.  happiness to all namaste.  thank you.

I am a little confused by your message, however, perhaps you are talking about the fact that a passport has to have at least 4 months validity left on it to be able to enter Cambodia.

Some countries it is 6 months, but Cambodia 4 months.

I've never heard any requirement for how long you've had the passport, as the previous poster mentioned there are requirements for how much validity it has.

I arrived with a 2-month old passport.

still learning, i meant the 4 months validity left on it to be able to enter Cambodia. i first understood it wrong. thank you for the information.
