Non-native speaker looking for a teaching job, any tips??!!

Hi all!

I've just moved to HCMC last month and now currently looking for a job as an English teacher.
I know most schools prefer native speakers, being asian and a non-native speaker doesn't help either.
I grew up in the states so speak english at a native level.
I have an American accent and a B.A. degree in English Business.
I've taught English for the past 3 years.
Any tips on where I should apply/look into or how to get private tutoring gigs?
Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you guys!

Hope that you'll soon be advised Anastasia!

In the meantime, I suggest you to post an advert in the section Jobs in HCMC, it may help.;)

Why don't you just give a try at ILA Vietnam. I used to be a Teaching Assistant there when I was a student.
