Cost of basic dietary needs in Amsterdam

Hi,
I was checking the prices for meat in Amsterdam and I can not understand the pricing.
It seems that the cost of beef from supermarket or butcher is ~30 euros/kg.
While the cost of chicken breast is ~6 euro/kg.
This essentially makes beef 3x more expensive than I buy it here in Greece while chicken is cheaper.
Why is beef so expensive? Is it the same also for fish and pork?
