Hi everyone! I'm Patricia and I'm from Portugal. I just arrived in HCMC and I'm loving every second of it! I have a University diploma and a CELTA certificate and I'm willing to stay in HCMC for at least a year. I'm now looking for work and I'm just realizing that most of the language schools require native speakers. Any advise? Do you reckon I can still find a job?

I'm a non native speaker with a CELTA. I don't think it should be a problem, especially if you look white and speak fluently. I am Asian but I did get a job here.

Good luck!

Hi1! It's good to know! Do you work in a language school or in an International school? Can you give me any tips in language schools that hire non native speakers?!

Thank you so much!

Being white is a big plus here, you shouldn't have a problem finding a job.
